What is the Stories in Stone t-shirt?
The Stories in Stone shirt is a BHPFA-exclusive design that celebrates the geology of the Black Hills and Badlands region. The front features “Stories in Stone” text above a row of illustrated panels showing five landmarks: Devils Tower, Jewel Cave, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, and Badlands.
Each of those places tells a different geological story. Wind Cave’s boxwork formations are some of the rarest cave features on Earth. Jewel Cave is the third-longest cave in the world, with over 215 miles of mapped passages. The Badlands expose millions of years of sedimentary layers and one of the richest fossil beds in North America. And Devils Tower is an igneous intrusion that’s been drawing visitors (and climbers) for over a century.
This shirt is designed exclusively for BHPFA and sold only through our park stores and this online shop. You won’t find it at other retailers.

The Stories in Stone tee is made by Concept 360 on a District Very Important Tee blank, a 60/40 cotton-poly blend with a relaxed, comfortable fit. Sizes run Small through 3XL in Heather Cardinal or Royal Frost.

Who is this for?

How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only if needed. Tumble dry low. You can warm iron it if necessary, but turn it inside out to protect the print.
How do the sizes run?
See the size chart above. Chest measurements range from 36 inches (Small) to 51.5 inches (3XL). Length runs from 26 inches (Small) to 32 inches (3XL). If you’re between sizes, size up.
