Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, you have 60 days from the date of purchase to return it for a full refund of the item price.
How to start a return
Email us at [email protected] with your order number and what you’d like to return. We’ll send you the return address and any instructions.
Who pays for return shipping?
For standard returns (wrong size, changed your mind, gift return, etc.), you pay the cost of shipping the item back to us. We’re a nonprofit, and every dollar we save on shipping goes directly to supporting national park programs and ranger-led education in the Black Hills region.
We do refund your original shipping cost if we made the mistake, like sending the wrong item or the wrong size.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrived damaged or we sent the wrong thing, you don’t need to ship anything back. Just email us photos of the damage or the incorrect item and we’ll issue a full refund, including your original shipping cost. We use the photos to file insurance claims with USPS.
Condition
Items should be unused and in their original packaging when possible. Books, maps, and similar products need to be in resalable condition.
Refund timing
Once we receive your return (or your photos for damaged/incorrect items), we process refunds within 5-7 business days. The refund goes back to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few additional days to post it.
Non-returnable items
Custom or personalized items can’t be returned unless they arrived defective. Sale items are final sale unless noted otherwise on the product page.
