Black Hills pint glass
This is McGovern & Company’s line-map pint glass for the Black Hills. Sixteen ounces, standard pint shape, screen printed on the outside with a hand-drawn line map of the region. Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monument are on it. So are Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the rest of the landmarks people recognize from a Black Hills trip.
The map is the point. It is stylized, not a navigation tool. McGovern notes across the line that “maps are not intended for compass orientation,” which is a good line and worth repeating. What you are getting is a conversation-starter that holds a full 16 oz pour and looks like a piece of regional artwork on the shelf between uses.
