What is the Scotts Bluff Eagle Rock Pin?
A small enameled metal pin showing a covered wagon in front of Eagle Rock, one of the five named outcroppings on the bluffs at Scotts Bluff National Monument. The other four are Dome Rock, Crown Rock, Sentinel Rock, and Saddle Rock. Together they form the 800-foot wall above the North Platte River that pioneers on the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trails used as a navigational landmark.
Made by L.W. Bristol Classics, a Bristol, Tennessee manufacturer that has produced custom pins, patches, and hiking medallions for parks and historic sites around the country for decades. The pin has a colorful enamel front, a brushed metal reverse, and a butterfly clutch back.
