Description

Two sides, two scenes

This tote is printed on both sides, and the two sides show different Wind Cave scenes in the flat-color style of the old park posters.

One face shows bison on the open hills: one standing close in the foreground with three more grazing back toward the treeline, and a steel fire lookout tower on the ridge behind them. The other face shows a stone arch bridge crossing a wooded canyon, pines running down both walls. The palette across both is navy, cream, sage green, and ochre, with a pale slate blue for the shadows. Along the bottom of each side, a navy band carries the park name and the National Park Service arrowhead.

What it is made of

The body is natural cream canvas, 100% recycled cotton, with cream webbing handles and a dark lining. It is made by McGovern Outdoor, designed in the USA and handmade in India.

It holds what a day at the park actually generates. A layer you shed by ten in the morning and want back at the amphitheater at nine at night, a couple of water bottles, the Passport book, whatever came out of the store. The canvas has enough body to stand up on the seat of the car instead of folding over on itself.
