What it is
This is the Scotts Bluff National Monument design in the Black Hills and Nebraska Panhandle collectible token series, a small struck-metal token made for collecting and display.
About the design
The front shows the profile of the bluff with the legend “Scotts Bluff National Monument, Est. 1919.” The reverse pairs the monument name with a covered wagon, a nod to the Oregon, California, and Mormon Trail emigrants who passed beneath these cliffs.
About the monument
Scotts Bluff rises above the North Platte River in the Nebraska Panhandle and was established as a national monument in 1919. The 800-foot bluff was a landmark for hundreds of thousands of westbound travelers in the mid-1800s.
How the tokens work
Each token carries the park or forest name on one side and a related image on the other. Collectors keep them in a token album with slotted pages, the same way pressed-penny and challenge-coin collections are stored. Tokens and albums are sold separately so you can build the set one site at a time.

A small souvenir for monument visitors and the Scotts Bluff piece for collectors completing the seven-token Black Hills and Nebraska set. Stock is limited.
