About the bald eagle plush
Bald eagles are a regular sight across BHPFA’s territory. They winter along the North Platte River near Scotts Bluff National Monument, hunt over Pactola Reservoir and Sheridan Lake in the Black Hills National Forest, and are occasionally spotted above the prairie at Wind Cave National Park. Spotting one in flight is one of those moments that fixes a trip in memory. This 9″ plush from The Petting Zoo is a way to bring that memory home without resorting to a generic souvenir.
The Petting Zoo’s Wild Onez line focuses on realistic wildlife rather than cartoon or fantasy animals. This eagle has the white head and tail feathers, brown body, and yellow beak and talons of the adult bald eagle, built at a size a child can carry without the plush feeling oversized.
Recycled through and through
The 9″ Wild Onez bald eagle is made from 100% recycled materials. The plush exterior, the fiber fill, the silicate pellets used for weight in the base, and even the sewn-in labels are all made from recycled content. Each Wild Onez plush uses an average of 17 recycled plastic bottles. The Petting Zoo says its recycled-plush line prevents roughly 15 million plastic bottles per year from ending up in landfills.

Bald eagle. The white head and tail feathers against the dark brown body are the distinguishing marks of the adult bald eagle. Juvenile bald eagles are entirely brown and can be confused with golden eagles, but this plush represents the adult.
