The Mammoth Site offers a variety of hands-on programming for k-12 in paleontological and biological science concepts including field trips to the site, classroom programmingvirtual programs, and educational kits. 

Mammoth-In-A-Trunk kits are traveling educational kits for grades K-12.  That include supplies for a class of 25 students, posters, teacher's edition, and resource material. 

The kit is free. A refundable deposit and return shipping are required.

All programming is based on South Dakota and Next Generation Science Standards

The Outdoor Campus in Rapid City offers outdoor education for all ages! They offer multiple options of "Critter Crates" available for checkout. They must be picked up on campus, can be reserved for a period of one week, and require a $75 deposit. More info about Critter Crates
