Join Park Ranger Ben Schutt for an evening look back at how one landmark, and the national monument named for it, changed over more than a century. In this Visitor Center Theater program, Schutt traces Scotts Bluff National Monument from its early creation and entry into the National Park System through the construction of the Summit Road, shifts in the landscape, and other turning points that shaped the place visitors see today.
The presentation takes place inside the theater at the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitor Center in Gering, Nebraska. Seating is first come, first served. The program is free and open to the public.
