Join Steven Rolfsmeier, Director of Chadron State College’s High Plains Herbarium, for a guided tour of the monument’s plant life. We will start with a walk on the Oregon Trail Pathway. Then caravan up to the Summit to look for other plants that make their homes on the monument’s bluffs. Wear sturdy walking shoes and be prepared to walk on asphalt and naturally surfaced trails.

Family Nature Club at Scotts Bluff National Monument is intended for children and their grown-ups. Each family group will receive an Exploration Kit to use during the series to explore the natural world around them at home.
