Where to meet: Jewel Cave National Monument 

What to expect:

This year Jewel Cave is celebrating 125 Years of Discovery! This special event will celebrate cave exploration and safe caving practices, while doing crafts and participating in fun activities from 10 am- 2pm.

Junior Cavers will have the chance to earn a Junior Caver Patch and a Junior Cave Scientist Badges, along with other items. Junior Cavers will also be invited to participate in a group swear-in ceremony at 2:15!

Please note this is a free event, but participants are interested in a cave tour they must purchase tickets ahead of time on Recreation.gov or on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of.
