Join SheJumps and Black Hills Parks & Forests Association at The Custer Beacon for the Girl Winter Film Tour, featuring inspiring short films highlighting the achievements and adventures of women in the outdoors! All are welcome to attend!
The Girl Winter Film Tour is back for its second year, featuring six short films that highlight stories of perseverance, creativity, and connection to the mountains—told by and about women redefining what it means to thrive in winter. All are welcome to attend!
Every ticket includes a raffle ticket for some rad prizes and you can purchase more raffle tickets at the event! All proceeds benefit connecting more women and girls to nature!
Cost: $15 for adults, $10 for youth (ages <18)
Enjoy six short films with a total runtime of 71 minutes:
–Mimic featuring Pipe Kunst, directed by Hadley Michaels and Piper Kunst
–Trails Still Blazing featuring Megan McJames, directed by Iz La Motte
–Queen of the Catskills featuring Julie McGuire, directed by Jamie Kennard
–Dear Superhero featuring Janina Kuzma, directed by Corinna Marie Haloran and Jase Hancox
–Let My People Go Skiing featuring Ellen Bradley, directed by Ellen Bradley
–That One Friend featuring Sierra Schlag and Waverly Chin, directed by Sara Beam Robbins and Grant Robbins
Note: “Queen of the Catskills” briefly addresses adult topics (suicidal ideation, domestic abuse) for ~30 seconds. Please allow viewers and parents with littles to take care if needed.
Run of Show:
6:00 pm: Doors open! Buy raffle tickets, enjoy a beverage, and make a new friend.
6:30 pm: Welcome and raffle!
6:45-8:00 pm: Films (10-minute intermission for bathroom & beverages) and raffle drawling
