As part of International Dark Sky Week, join a park ranger to learn about the importance of Wind Cave National Park’s night sky. Participants will use a telescope provided by the Black Hills Parks and Forests Association to view planets and constellations.
This event will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the overlook along Highway 87 near the junction with Highway 385 (43°34’25.9″N 103°29’15.5″W).
Dress for the weather and bring a chair if you’d like. However, if the weather is poor the event will be canceled.
