Join Steven Rolfsmeier, Director of the High Plains Herbarium at Chadron State College, for a FREE guided tour of Scotts Bluff National Monument’s plant life. The tour is scheduled to start at the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitor Center at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 23rd. Steven will lead participants along the Oregon Trail Pathway and then caravan up the Summit Road to observe a few plants growing on the summit of Scotts Bluff. Everyone is welcome! Please be prepared to walk up to one mile on both paved and natural uneven trail surfaces.
