What to Know:
Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is planning to host a drawing workshop, Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the monument visitor center, located at 301 River Road, Harrison Nebraska, 69346.
Daniel Moore earned an MFA at the Louisiana Tech University School of Design where he is now Assistant Professor of Art. His work has been exhibited across the southern United States and featured in New American Paintings, Studio Visit Magazine, and Creative Quarterly.
Daniel spends time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and making art. He teaches landscape painting workshops at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge and serves on the board of directors of Friends of Black Bayou in Monroe, Louisiana.While he is here, Mr. Moore plans to share his knowledge through a presentation in the Visitor Center theater. Following the inside presentation, visitors will be invited to try their hand at drawing outside, with guidance from Mr. Moore. This workshop is free and drawing materials will be provided.
